Joe Orton's Freudian farce takes place in the private clinic of Dr Prentice. The doctor is impelled to undress a young woman, and trying to cover up the indiscretion involves his entire household in blackmail, transvestism, incest and more...But when fellow psychiatrist and establishment supremo Dr Rance arrives to investigate the clinic, things only get more complicated.
